Larry Richards, Owner/ CEO
Diving into the construction world back in 1995, Larry “Bubba” Richards began his journey building homes in Dallas, TX. Today, he proudly stands as the CEO and Owner of TRG Roofing and Decks. Beyond his professional accolades, Larry is a dedicated husband to Anna and a proud father. While much of his career has been rooted in the foundation and structural repair sector, an unexpected encounter with a black widow spider prompted a shift to roofing and exteriors. Ever since, he’s been on a mission to transform the perceptions of Middle Tennessee homeowners about roofing contractors.
Larry’s passion for his industry runs deep. He’s an active Professional Member of the American Policyholder Association, championing against insurance fraud. Additionally, he’s a valued Member of Roofers in Recovery and a respected public speaker, often sharing his insights and experiences with eager audiences.
Carlie Gianotti-Sessum,
Business Development Manager
Hailing from Goodrich, Michigan, Carlie has embraced the Donelson area of Nashville as her home for the past nine years. Transitioning from the property and casualty insurance sector, with a brief foray into property restoration, she has passionately devoted the last six years to the roofing industry. Her vast network and commitment to ensuring the TRG Roofing and Decks team, business partners, and their clients have the resources they need have solidified her as an invaluable asset to the group. Guided by her father’s wisdom that “It’s not what you know, but who you know,” she excels at forging and nurturing business relationships.
When not immersed in her professional endeavors, Carlie finds joy in the great outdoors. Whether teeing off on the golf course alongside her husband Ricky Sessum, cruising on Nashville’s scenic lakes, or exploring the city’s newest hotspots, she fully embodies the lively spirit of Nashville.
Joshua Compton, Production Manager
Josh, a native of Shelbyville, TN, has now made Murfreesboro his home. Recently, he and his wife welcomed a joyous addition to his life, a baby boy named Charlie.
Outside of work, Josh indulges in small game hunting and takes pride in his culinary skills, often delighting in creating delicious meals. With two decades of industry experience under his belt, Josh has an innate ability to streamline processes, ensuring that customers have a seamless and efficient experience. His bilingual skills come to the forefront on job sites, where he actively engages with the crews, discussing the intricacies of construction in both languages.
Colby Fagan, Project Manager
Colby is a true Murfreesboro native, cherishing the community where he has spent his entire life and where he now raises his 9-year-old daughter.
With a solid foundation in ground-up construction, Colby plays a pivotal role at TRG. He spearheads the roof reconditioning division and aids TRG customers with their interior projects. Beyond these responsibilities, he manages the day-to-day activities of our roofing crews with diligence.
Away from his professional duties, Colby embraces the thrill of the open road, often found exploring the countryside on his motorcycle. Among his various roles at TRG, he holds a particular fondness for piloting the company drone, capturing unique perspectives from above.
Erik Popplewell, Estimator
Erik, originally from Texas, has now made Nashville his cherished home. Before diving into the roofing world, he shaped young minds as a Middle and High School teacher and channeled his energy into coaching.
Today, alongside his wife Abbey, he cherishes family life in Brentwood with their two boys and baby girl. Whether embracing the outdoors on scenic trails and parks or actively coaching their children’s weekend sports activities, they immerse themselves in life’s simple pleasures.
Erik’s philosophy at work is straightforward: treat homeowners as an extension of his family, ensuring each project embodies excellence from start to finish.
